We recently moved to the Shreveport area, and have started going to Airline Baptist. Everyone in the church is so welcoming, and they truly do try to make the congregation feel more like family which is rare in a larger church. The church has a lot of activities going on during the week/weekends, and there is something for everyone- including Moms Of PreSchoolers (MOPS), quilt class, softball teams, and other outings. The nursery classes during service is amazing- it's organized, there are seperate rooms for each age group, and they actually learn something, instead of just being cared for. Brother Chad is a very charismatic speaker, but stays on point with his purpose. My only complaint would be some of the content of his sermon- sometimes he comes off a little harsh, and I don't necessarily agree with some of his views. I'm more into contemporary services, filled with the love of God, hope, and help with your journey with Jesus. This church seems to lean more towards the fear of God.

Now I know every Church is different and there is always something someone doesn't like about 1 but likes about another. There Cermmons here are nice but it seemed not very warm and welcoming to me. They do have Childcare for smaller Children and Sunday School Classes for the older Kids which they enjoy.
